Need help with Daycore? This page explains how the app works, what data it uses, what it does not use, and how to get support.
Daycore is an iPhone app (iOS 18 or later) for keeping a daily record of your life in a retro terminal aesthetic.
Each calendar day is one Daily Record. You can move between days, browse your archive in Logs, and optionally unlock Daycore Pro for advanced themes, analysis, and archive tools.
Daycore does not require an account with us and does not use a custom backend for your journal.
For each day, Daycore can hold up to five kinds of information:
| Part | What it is | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Environment | City/locality and daily weather summary | Automatic when Location is granted |
| Telemetry | Sleep, heart rate, HRV, weight, steps, distance, exercise, active energy | Automatic when Health is granted |
| System Status | Your energy, mood, focus, and stress (0–10) | You enter this |
| Memory Core | One short text memory (up to 280 characters) | You enter this |
| Pixel Log | One optional retro-style photo for the day | You capture this |
The main screen shows the selected day. Swipe left or right to move to the previous or next day. Use LOGS to open your archive and SETTINGS to manage the app.
Each day shows a status banner:
Pixel Log photos are optional and do not affect whether a day is marked complete.
Some data is provisional while a day is still open:
