BookRoom: My Library (“BookRoom,” “the app”) is designed to help you manage your personal library while respecting your privacy.

Information handled by the app

BookRoom may store information you voluntarily enter, such as book titles, authors, ISBNs, notes, ratings, reading status, loan details, and book-cover photos.

This information is stored locally on your device. When iCloud is available, it can be privately synchronized through your iCloud account so that it is available on your compatible Apple devices.

BookRoom does not require you to create an account. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal library information for advertising purposes.

Book searches

When you search for a book by title, author, or ISBN, BookRoom sends the search terms to book-information services to retrieve matching results and cover images. These services are:

Each provider may process requests according to its own privacy policy. BookRoom does not use this information to create advertising profiles or to track you across apps or websites.

Camera and photo library

BookRoom requests camera access only to scan ISBN barcodes or take book-cover photos.

BookRoom requests photo-library access only when you choose an image for a book cover.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases

BookRoom Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. BookRoom does not receive or store payment details, card numbers, or banking information.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

BookRoom does not include advertising, does not use third-party analytics services, and does not track users across apps or websites.
