Daycore (“Daycore,” “the app”) is a personal daily journal for iPhone. It is designed to help you keep a daily record of your life while keeping your information on your device and, when you choose, in your private iCloud account.
This policy explains what information Daycore handles, what it does not collect, and how that information is used.

- Daycore does not require an account with us.
- Daycore does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking.
- Daycore does not sell, rent, or share your daily-record information for advertising.
- Daycore does not operate its own backend servers for your journal data.
- Your daily records stay on your iPhone and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud account through Apple CloudKit.
Information handled by the app
Daycore stores information that is generated automatically or that you voluntarily enter for each calendar day. Depending on your permissions and use of the app, this may include:
Daily record content
- Environment — city or locality name, approximate coordinates, and a daily weather summary (temperature range, condition, precipitation) obtained through Apple frameworks when location access is available
- Telemetry — selected Health metrics you authorize, such as sleep, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability, weight, steps, distance, exercise time, and active energy
- System Status — energy, mood, focus, and stress values you enter
- Memory Core — one short text memory you choose to store (up to 280 characters)
- Pixel Log — an optional photo you capture in the app, processed on device into a retro terminal-style image and stored with that day’s record
App preferences stored locally
Daycore also stores preferences on your device, such as:
- Theme, app icon, CRT effects, sounds, and haptics
